Oklahoma City (20-20) continues to scratch and claw their way back into playoff contention, sitting five wins out from the Western Conference's No. 8 seed.  They've been somewhat inconsistent so far in January, losing three of their last six games.  The plus for the Thunder, though, is they looked sharp in their last two wins - a 127-115 win on Friday against Golden State and a 127-99 win on Sunday against Orlando - and now sit at .500.

"We did shoot extremely well and we did play one of our best offensive games we've had all year. We were clicking on all cylinders this time," coach Scott Brooks said Sunday, via ESPN. "We haven't played well in our last three road games, but we came out with a road-trip mentality."

Thunder star Kevin Durant has continued to turn in big games since returning from his foot injury earlier in the season and averaging 25.4 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.  He, along with teammate Russell Westbrook, had even bigger games against No. 1-ranked Golden State - Durant had 36 points and nine rebounds, and Westbrook had a triple-double with 17 points, 17 assists and 15 rebounds.

The team also has benefited from their trade for Dion Waiters, who's been huge off the bench for them.  After inconsistent production with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Waiters has averaged 14.4 points per game since joining the Thunder in January and 17.0 points over his last four games.

Miami, meanwhile, is 18-22 and has been inconsistent this month.  They've won four of their last seven games, including Friday's 95-83 victory at Sacramento.
