Evidence of a mysterious craft hovering over a lunar horizon was recently discovered by a UFO researcher in 30 separate archival photos from November's 1969 NASA moon mission Apollo 12, the sixth manned flight mission of NASA's Apollo program.

Although there have been similar finds in other NASA photos recently, this one can prove to be much more significant since the same UFO reportedly makes a background appearance while astronauts appear to be walking on the Moon in several Apollo 12 mission photos.

Launched Nov. 14, 1969 from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Mission Commander Charles "Pete" Conrad and Lunar Module Pilot Alan Bean landed on the Moon on Nov. 19. The mission was ompleted by Nov. 24.

The multiple photos feature a mysterious UFO stationed in the lunar sky, seemingly spying on the Apollo 12 mission crew while the astronauts caper around on the lunar surface, according to UFO Sightings Daily's Scott Warring. The full-length photos may be viewed here and here.

Since the UFO appears in more than 30 different photos of the same horizon, it proves that the mysterious object in the lunar sky is not a flaw in the photograph, Warring says.

"I found this object in the background. Now if it was in a single photo I might have some doubts about it. However it is in 30+ photos! This object is not only in other photos, but it changes its distance away from the camera and it changes its angle of view."

Meanwhile another 1971 NASA moon mission Apollo 15 photo, taken on the surface of the moon between July 30 and Aug. 2, 1971, created quite a buzz last month after a UFO researcher spotted a mysterious craft hovering over a lunar horizon.
