Katy Perry and John Mayer have been hot and cold since they began dating during the summer of 2012. In a recent interview with Vogue Magazine, the "Wide Awake" singer said the two were no longer dating but did admit to still being "madly in love with him." A couple months ago E! News reported that the couple was actually back together and that rumor might be true. Over the weekend, Perry was spotted with her ex on two different outings, the Daily Mail reports.

Perry and Mayer were spotted leaving The Waldorf Astoria. The crooner had attended the Friars Club Roast of comedian Don Rickles. He reportedly arrived at the event but was joined by the "California Girls" singer once inside. They were photographed leaving the event together. They were also seen again having a more casual date night at the Greenwich Hotel and Bowery Hotel in New York, the Daily Mail reports.

A source close to the couple told E! News that "they were cuddly and cute" adding that Perry was giving the impression that she and Mayer were"100 percent back together."

In an interview with Vogue, Perry talked about her relationship with Mayer saying that even though had split in March, she still had feelings for him.

"I was madly in love with him. I still am madly in love with him. All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind," she said. "Beautiful of mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."

She also talked about her ex-husband Russell Brand saying that she has not spoken to him since the divorce.

"He's a very smart man, a magical man and I was in love with him when I married him," she said. "Let's just say I haven't heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011."

According to the Daily News, Perry, 28, knew her marriage was in serious trouble after she found out he was using their marital problems in his comedy routines.

"He started making jones about me and he didn't know I was in the audience," she told the magazine. "Because I had come to surprise him at one of his shows."

She went on to say that she does take part of the responsibility for the relationship going south because of her busy and hectic work schedule even though she said she tried to come home as much as possible. She did say there was another reason that could have led to them getting a divorce but told Vogue that it was something she "can't necessarily disclose."

"I found out the real truth... I keep it locked in my safe for a rainy day," she said. "I let go and I was like: This isn't because of me, this is beyond me. So I have moved on from that."
