Yolanda Foster continues to suffer from a debilitating case of Lyme disease and she has reached out to the fans of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in a new blog post.

Foster has struggled with spirochete infections, known as Lyme Neuroborreliosis, for the last three years. She was able to recover 60 percent before she relapsed in early December.

She describes her life now as if someone "confiscated my brain and tied my hands behind my back." She also feels "of no use" during her recovery.

"Although writing is usually my favorite thing to do, I unfortunately have lost the ability to do so in an intelligent matter at this time," she wrote. "I have lost the ability to read, write, or even watch TV, because I can't process information or any stimulation for that matter."

The reality star is currently seeking treatment overseas. The FDA blocks many of the medicines and therapies that Foster wished to try in the United States.

"That's why I choose to travel and recognize the value of diverse points of view in medicine," the 51-year-old wrote. "I am a firm believer that God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling, so even though I have not found a cure, I have faith that I will."

She vows to keep fighting her disease and trying to find a cure for others. Foster also finds it discouraging that a proper diagnostic test, treatment and cure for the infection have not been discovered since Lyme disease emerged in the early 1900s.

"Something doesn't add up here, and I will make it my life mission to figure this out, because nobody deserves to suffer this way in 2015," the mother of three wrote. "I am blessed with the unwavering support of my husband, my children, and a handful of true friends, and I would like to thank you for all your sweet messages and support on social media."
