Fox Television talked about a wide range of topics at its TCA Winter Press Tour presentation, including the possibility of making another "24." According to Fox411, Chairman and CEO Gary Ne wman told the audience that the network isn't quite ready to lose Jack Bauer and is toying with the idea of doing another series based on Kiefer Sutherland's character.

Newman stated that there are no deals in the works but they "are in discussions."

"We would love nothing more than to do another '24,'" he said.

Last year, the series was rebooted with a limited 12 episodes for "Live Another Day" and premiered with high ratings. The original series aired from 2001 to 2010 and following the finale there was buzz that Fox could turn the show into a movie. So far, there has been no progression with the supposed film.

According to another report, Fox is also toying with the idea of bringing "24" back without Sutherland and instead focusing on the supporting characters.

"We have great characters and that great creative team," said Fox chief Dana Walden.

Walden also said that rebooting the show without Sutherland would be an experiment to highlight the other characters but Jack Bauer would always remain the main focus. Because of the success of "Live Another Day," Fox executives are also discussing the possibility of bringing back other shows like "The X-Files" and "Prison Break."

Walden said the idea has been talked about with "X-Files" creator Chris Carter and stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. She also noted that a deal isn't even close to being made.

"We would bring 'Prison Break' back in a heartbeat," Newman said at the TCA.
