Christopher Robinson, 25, who has terminal cancer, married the love of life at a Brooklyn, N.Y., hospice even if he has only a few days left to live.

His bride Terry Torres, 23, said "I do" to Robinson on Thursday at the MJHS Hospice residential inpatient unit. She walked the aisle with their 2-year-old son C.J.

The newlyweds were grateful to a generous city clerk who arranged the licensing paperwork for them and to the hospital staff who transformed his room into a wedding venue. In less than 24 hours, Christopher's wish came true as he put a ring on his bride's finger, according to the New York Daily News.

"It was like something out of a dream," he said of the wedding. "It was beautiful."

The teary-eyed bride, now Mrs. Terry Robinson, recounts how they met each other at a college in upstate New York. Since then, the couple lived for better or worse staying together as they juggle jobs to someday buy a place of their own.

Christopher Robinson once survived five gunshots in 2013 and underwent multiple surgeries. But his second life now is facing another challenge after doctors diagnosed him with a rare, terminal renal cancer. He was told he only had few months to live, the Daily News reported.

He could barely move yet he was determined to marry Terry.

"Christopher actually stood up from his wheelchair and that brought me to tears," she said.

The couple doesn't know how many days are left for them to stay together, but one thing for sure, Christopher will leave content.

"She's the love of my life, she's my friend and my moon, my stars, my sky, she's my everything," he said.
