A cashier at a Rally's fast food restaurant in Ohio was almost pulled through the pick-up window by an attempted robber on Monday, WKYC reported.

The robbery happened shortly before 7 p.m., police said. According to the employee, the robber pulled up to the window at the Akron eatery, grabbed the employee's neck and demanded money. The suspect left without getting anything and the employee was able to pull away.

The robbery suspect is between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 white male in his early 20s and weighing about 200 pounds. He was spotted wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a black hat.

In Kentucky, two men have been arrested in connection with a string of 15 restaurant robberies - including at three different Rally's locations - in the span of six weeks. The incident at these Rally's are not related to the robbery attempt in Ohio.

Thomas Davidson and Kevin Boyd were arrested on Jan. 18, according to Wave 3.

"Thomas Davidson, at the Qdoba on November 15 and the Rally's on November 25, indicated he had a weapon but he didn't show it; but aside from all of that they did show a weapon in all the holdups," said Lt. Jennifer Coe of the LMPD robbery squad.
