The Denver Nuggets trading Timofey Mozgov to the Cleveland Cavaliers apparently has other teams under the impression Denver is willing to part with players.  The Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers are among the teams who've discussed with Denver a trade for Arron Afflalo or Wilson Chandler, according to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Denver's decision to part with Mozgov for a pair of future first-round picks reportedly has at least some teams in the league on the phones calling them about the availability of some of their other players.

"Since Mozgov trade, everyone is calling Denver on Chandler (and) Afflalo," Shelburne tweeted Monday.  "Heard Heat, Clippers, (Charlotte) Hornets have all discussed Afflalo."

Grantland's Zach Lowe last week named the Portland Trail Blazers as a team in the hunt for Chandler.

"Denver is just waiting for (Portland) to toss in a 1st for Chandler," Lowe tweeted Friday.

Out of the four aforementioned teams, Los Angeles would have the hardest time completing a trade.  They're purportedly looking to add a shooting guard or a small forward, but their lack of assets and their lack of financial flexibility - they're around $1.6 million away from the tax threshold - makes it difficult for coach and president Doc Rivers to make any moves.

The Clippers were also linked to Rivers's son, Austin, whom the Boston Celtics acquired in a three-team trade over the weekend from the New Orleans Pelicans.

"The Los Angeles Clippers are in preliminary discussions with the Boston Celtics to acquire Austin Rivers, according to team sources," ESPN's Arash Markazi wrote Saturday.  "One source with knowledge of the Clippers' thinking told ESPN.com's Ramona Shelburne that L.A. -- with Doc Rivers serving as coach and team president -- believes it will ultimately acquire Rivers."

Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times also reported the Clippers were discussing a way to acquire Austin the Celtics.
