Lenny Kravitz will join Katy Perry in Glendale, Arizona as a special guest for her Super Bowl halftime performance in February.

Perry, 30, announced that Kravitz, a Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter, would join her on stage at the Super Bowl in an excerpt of a NBC interview during the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots playoff game Saturday, Reuters reported.

Perry's interview will air Monday on NBC. In the clip, Perry did not reveal which songs the pair would collaborate on but said "he's the coolest."

The Super Bowl is the most-watched U.S. sporting and television event, and the halftime show attracts more viewers than the actual game, according to Reuters.

The 2014 Super Bowl averaged 112.2 million viewers on Fox, and the halftime show, featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, averaged 115.3 million viewers.

Perry did say that the two might perform some version of Kravitz's "American Woman" during the Pepsi sponsored halftime show at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The Super Bowl will be played on Feb. 1, and NBC will broadcast the game.
