Tomorrow afternoon marks the start of the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. Unfortunately for the players, none of the games will be played in what could be described as enjoyable weather.

This weekend's games will take place in the Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, Midwest and Northeast. The remaining eight teams are fighting for an opportunity to play in the sunny and warm Arizona-hosted Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 1.

Stormy weather does not appear to be a problem, though it will be quite frigid.

The New England Patriots will host the Baltimore Ravens for the fourth time in the postseason since 2009. The Ravens have won the previous three matchups.

The defending Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks will host the 11-point underdog Carolina Panthers at Century Link Field. The Seahawks have won the previous three matchups against the Panthers. A light shower is possible during the game.

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys will meet in the playoffs for the first time since the 1967 NFL Championship, aptly named the "Ice Bowl." Temperatures during that game dropped to minus-13 degrees Fahrenheit. Fortunately, this weekend's game isn't expected to be colder than the mid-teens.

Finally, Peyton Manning will square off against his former team as the Indianapolis Colts will travel to Mile High Stadium to play the Denver Broncos. Manning has been criticized plenty for his shortcomings in cold weather throughout his career. He is 0-4 in playoffs games with temperatures below 40 F. Sunday's game is expected to be played in the mid-30s.
