Could Jamie Dornan be taking a trip back to Storybrooke?

The 32-year-old actor, who played Sheriff Graham on the hit TV series "Once Upon A Time," has a number of projects lined up, including starring as Christian Grey in "Fifty Shades of Grey," but fans are still hoping that the former Calvin Klein model would be willing to make a cameo in the ABC fairy-tale drama.

In February, the show's executive producers Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told AccessHollywood.com that they wanted Dornan back on the show, but the actor seems to have different plans.

While promoting the second season of his Netflix crime thriller "The Fall" at the 2015 Winter TCA Press Tour, Dornan revealed that he no longer has hope for his character's return after he was killed off the show by Regina, played by Lana Parrilla.

"I love those guys, Adam and Eddy, they're like family to me," Dornan told a small group of reporters, according to E! Online. "I was actually filming something on the same lot as them just before Christmas. But I don't know, [Graham] is kind of dead!"

Despite his character's death, there are several ways he can reappear on the show, especially through flashback scenes. Producers had plans to bring Dornan back during season three, but negotiations fell through due to the actor's hectic schedule, Yahoo! reported.

"I know there are ways and means [to bring Graham back], but that's something I'm not privy to," the actor admitted. "I know the hardcore fans want it, as well."

E! News spoke to Jennifer Morrison during the show premiere party in the fall and the actress expressed her interest in getting Dornan back to the series.

"We're still good friends, and obviously Jamie has quite the schedule, but we're hoping that someday there will be a moment where he's available to come back and reprise some flashbacks of Sheriff Graham," Morrison said.

Meanwhile, the Northern Irish model-turned-actor will appear in "Fifty Shades of Grey" due out Feb. 2015, and will star in the second season of "The Fall" hitting Netflix on Jan. 16.
