Are you an introvert? Or just a regular human being who appreciates the value of personal space? If so then Intel's Spider Dress is perfect for all your isolation needs.

Intel's Robotic Spider Dress, fresh out of this year's Consumer Electronics Show, is a 3D-printed garb with proximity sensors and spider-like limbs that keep tabs on your personal space and jut out when someone gets a little too close for comfort.

It's perfect for warding off that train passenger practically sitting in your lap even though there are plenty of seats, or that guy at the bar who keeps yacking even though you couldn't look more board.

"Approach the wearer to[o] aggressively and the mechanical limbs move up to an attack position," writes Spider Dress creator Anouk Wipprecht, who has a background in fashion design and works in wearable technology.

"Approach the system under calmer circumstance and the dress just might beckon you to come closer with smooth, suggestive gestures."
