Blake Shelton will make his "Saturday Night Live" debut as both host and musical guest on Jan. 24.

Shelton recently led singer Craig Wayne Boyd to victory on "The Voice," where he has served as a coach since the show's inception in 2011. Four of his artists have gone on to win the NBC singing competition series.

The country star has co-hosted the Country Music Awards for the last five years and is the reigning five-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year. He's also a five-time Grammy nominee and his latest album, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Shelton will return to "The Voice" on Feb. 23 for season eight.

"SNL" will kick off 2015 with host Kevin Hart on Jan. 17. He stars in the upcoming movie, "The Wedding Ringer," in theaters on Jan. 16. "Chandelier" singer Sia will serve as his musical guest.

The NBC sketch comedy series will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 15 with a three-hour live special. The event will include present and past cast members as well as special and musical guests.
