It's a match made in rock heaven.

Hayley Williams and New Found Glory guitarist, Chad Gilbert, are officially engaged after six years of dating. Gilbert proposed to the Paramore frontwoman on Christmas Day, Us Weekly reported.

"Popped the question on Christmas Day! #micdrop," Gilbert captioned a picture of his head and Williams' head cut out and placed on the image of a bride and groom.

Williams posted the same engagement photo with the caption, "Hey guess what?"

The newly engaged couple received congratulatory tweets from their fellow musicians. Fall Out Boy's guitarist Pete Wentz gave thumbs-up along with writing, "Congrats guys !!!" Katy Perry wrote, "YAS! Now this is truly punk rock! CONGRATS!"

Williams took to Twitter to respond to fans by posting a throwback picture of her first date with Gilbert and a post which read, "Can't even keep up w/ the sweet texts, emails, tweets. Thx so much yall! We're so psyched! See yall in 2015."

While promoting his bands' recent album, "Resurrection," Gilbert opened up about life with Williams and how they maintain a close relationship.

"Personally, Hayley and I, we'd been dating for six years, and we hit a rough patch in our relationship, and it was great, being able to get that out in these songs," he explained to Fuse TV. "It made things better for us, you know what I'm saying? There was so much going on at this time that you can dig deep into the record."
