Jeremy Renner managed to keep his marriage to Sonni Pacheco as a secret for months, but his impending divorce will play out much more publicly.

Pacheco filed for divorce earlier this month after only 10 months of marriage, according to TMZ. She claimed irreconcilable differences in the court documents, but the Canadian model also demanded the return of her stolen passport, birth certificate and Social Security card.

Renner casually let slip his marriage to Pacheco in an interview with Capitol File magazine back in September. The couple previously broke up before the birth of their daughter, Ava Berlin, in March 2013.

"I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy," he told Capitol File about keeping his personal life private despite the always hovering paparazzi. "I don't need her to get hammered with my life."

Pacheco and Renner signed a prenuptial agreement, but she claims it should be thrown out because it was based on fraud. Details of the "fraud" committed were not given, according to TMZ. Renner's wife also wants spousal support and physical custody of Ava.

In the meantime, she wants use of the couple's Range Rover and for her soon-to-be ex-husband to pay for her rent and moving expenses.

Renner admitted last year that he never felt pressure to get married. He also never thought much about it, he told Elle.

The Oscar-nominated actor is currently filming "Mission: Impossible 5," reprising his role as William Brandt. He'll next star in the "Avengers" sequel, "Age of Ultron," as Hawkeye.
