The Boston College Eagles play the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday in the 2014 Pinstripe Bowl.  Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium.  Watch the live stream or listen to the radio broadcast via the links provided below.

Boston College coach Steve Addazio's second year with the team saw marked improvement, finishing the regular season with a 7-5 record and some to-the-wire losses, including a 20-17 loss at Florida State last month.  For Addazio, it's about developing his football program each season.

"Last year was great because it was the first time we were able to become bowl eligible and get there," he said, according to ESPN.  "(This year), sure, we'd love to have nine wins right now, and that wouldn't have been a stretch.  ... Good programs get better because they play in bowl games and they're able to extend their practices.  It's like another spring.  You're developing your football program, the culture of your team.  Success breeds success.  You're playing in a meaningful, big-time bowl."

A big reason for the Eagles' second straight Bowl appearance is due to dual-threat senior quarterback Tyler Murphy, who has 1,526 yards and 11 touchdowns through the air and 1,079 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.

Murphy, though, will have to perform against the No. 1 rushing defense in the country.  Penn State (6-6) is looking to end their inaugural season under coach James Franklin on a high note after dropping their last two games.  Despite the poor finish to the regular season, Franklin finds some solace in snapping Penn State's three-season drought of not playing in a Bowl game.

"It's a huge step for so many reasons," he said.  "I think it's a part of us getting back to where we belong in college football.   ... We couldn't be more excited."
