ISS: ESA Astronaut Alexander Gerst Released A Video Featuring Time Lapse Photos Of Earth From The Space Station (VIDEO)

ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst compiled 12,500 images taken during his six-month stay on the International Space Station. Gerst set up his camera to take time-lapse photos while he conducted experiments in the floating lab.

"...this Ultra High Definition video shows the best our beautiful planet has to offer," the ESA wrote on its YouTube account.
