The Mormon church has progressed to the extent that it now acknowledges and tolerates homosexuality in society, but it still considers all non-heterosexual relationships a sin in the eyes of God. In a new TLC special, four Mormon men will struggle to stay true to their faith while fighting their attraction to other men.

"My Husband's Not Gay" features four men in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who have homosexual urges but remain in relationships with women. Three men are married and one is dating a woman.

None of the men identify as gay, but do admit to having a sexual attraction to other men. Their wives support and defend them with one woman saying she wouldn't "change anything about" her husband, despite his attraction to men.

"I'm attracted to my wife, for sure, and I'm definitely attracted to men, too," one man said.

The show will explore the challenges the men face everyday as well as the wives who "endure this unusual facet in their relationships," according to TLC.

The four men, who live in Utah, also attend faith sessions together where their group leader tells them, "the whole act [of homosexuality] is against the teachings of the Gospel." Another man sees his dueling attraction as a problem he can solve through his Mormon faith.

"There's no marriage that is perfect. Ours isn't. But with our faith in God, we believe we can overcome anything," he says.

TLC has several shows about people in the Mormon faith including "My Five Wives," "Sister Wives" and "19 Kids & Counting."

"My Husband's Not Gay" will premiere on Sunday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. on TLC.
