Just three months ago Eva Mendes and her boyfriend Ryan Gosling welcomed their daughter into the world but a new report claims that the couple is having some serious relationship issues. According to OK! Magazine (Via Hollywood Life), Mendes and Gosling are on the verge of splitting.

Sources told the tabloid that the stress of a new baby - plus Gosling's super busy acting career - is putting a strain on the relationship. Reportedly, while Mendes is at home in Los Angeles caring for the newborn, Gosling is filming his movie "The Nice Guy" in Georgia.

Sources told OK! that the actor asked Mendes to bring baby Esmeralda Amada to Georgia but she refuses.

"It's more than just run-of-the-mill stress that comes with having a newborn. They're barely talking," the source said. "Eva has pushed him away. So instead of coming home every night to them, he's jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter."

Mendes, who kept her pregnancy very hush-hush, recently dished on being a first-time mom to The Violet Files.

"I'm completely exhausted. I thought my wild nights were over but these are some of the wildest night I've ever had," she said, adding that she didn't hire a nanny to help.

"I go to BabyCenter.com and read the comment section from other mothers because I find so much solace in that," Mendes revealed. "Just knowing that I'm not alone out there and that other moms have gone through the same thing can at least get me through the night."

The "Hitch" actress also revealed how she and Gosling chose the perfect name for their baby girl.

"We both love the Esmeralda character from the Victor Hugo novel 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' and just think it's a beautiful name. Her middle name is Amada, which was my grandmother's name. It means 'beloved' in Spanish," she said.
