As “Fast and Furious 6” continues to obliterate the box office, many fans are looking forward to “Fast and Furious 7.” There have been many rumors and speculation about cast members for the next movie. Among them, is the possibility that Halle Berry could grace the screen in the next film.

Ryan Seacrest, on his show “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” spoke to rapper and actor Ludacris, who plays “Tej,” in the “Fast and Furious” movies. He asked Ludacris, whose actual name is Chris Bridges, about the rumors (which also mention Rihanna as a possible actor).

“I have no idea,” he said. “But I’m hoping for Halle Berry … well both of them … but we’ll see what happens. [The crew] always seem to surprise even us sometimes.”

In the interview Luda also discussed a tradition he has kept in every “Fast and Furious” movie he has acted in. The rapper always purchases a vehicle that appeared in the film. So, did he stay the course in “Fast and Furious 6?”

“This time around, since we shot in London, and the damn steering wheel was on the other side, I did not buy one from this one,” Bridges explained. “I don’t live in London and don’t want to bring that car to the States and get messed up and accidentally have a crash, so I decided to leave this one out but we’ll see about Fast 7.”

The villain for “Fast and Furious 7” has been confirmed in the form of Ian Shaw, Owen Shaw’s brother, who will be played by—Jason Statham.

“And the cats out of the bag: [fans] see Jason Statham at the end of ‘Fast and Furious 6’, so we’re getting ready for ‘Fast 7’,” said Bridges.

“Fast and Furious 7” is set to hit theaters July 2014. Fans can expect to see some new locations, and possibly some new faces, in the seventh installment.
