Mother Maria Shriver has banned Miley Cyrus from spending the holidays with her boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and the rest of the Kennedy family, Inquisitr reported on Sunday.

Though the two are dating and seem to be in the throws of passion, it's reported that Shriver isn't the biggest fan of Miley and her antics.

"She doesn't think it's appropriate to have Miley around the rest of the Kennedy family," a source said, adding that she isn't ready to have Miley around the family at Christmas time.

The new isn't too surprising, since Shriver has been open about not caring too much for the "Wrecking Ball" star. Sources indicate that Shriver is worried Miley will influence her son in a negative way.

Recent rumors of Miley and Schwarzenegger getting married in a celebration in Miami shocked and bothered the family even more, according to the International Business Times. The famous couple are frequently seen together at parties and caught being affectionate in public.

Miley is also defending herself against those who label her as a partier and an alcoholic and drug addict.

This isn't the first time the young Schwarzenegger was told he couldn't bring his infamous girlfriend to an event. Miley was also not welcome at his sister's 25h birthday party, Hollywood Life reported.

"Patrick is very close to his sister he's not going to go against what she asks, especially not on her birthday," a source said.
