Sometimes a songwriter creates a great song, but the song just doesn't make it to the right artist at the right time. Sometimes great songs can go unrecorded and unknown.

That's not the case with Stephanie Urbina Jones' euphoric "My Baby's Got A Smile On Her Face" - millions of people now know the song she wrote. That's because it has become the signature song of the new winner of "The Voice," Craig Wayne Boyd.

Coached and mentored by superstar Blake Shelton, Boyd first performed Urbina Jones' song as his vocal showcase, then sang it again as his competition finale. Shelton said he recommended the song to Boyd because he has loved the dreamy, romantic ballad from the moment he first heard it.

Taking time out from his triumph, Boyd told Urbina Jones via Facebook, "Thanks for a great song."

Boyd has also released a charming music video version of "My Baby's Got A Smile On Her Face." All of this activity rocketed the song to No. 2 on iTunes, according to a press release.

"It's my Christmas miracle!" Jones exclaimed, whose fans have dubbed the powerful singer/songwriter "Fiery Angel." She co-wrote "My Baby's Got A Smile On Her Face" with Mark Marchetti.

Urbina Jones has just concluded a week-long, 16-show tour of her home state of Texas, during which she imparted her own brand of the spirit of Christmas to enthusiastic crowds at clubs, children's hospitals, nursing homes and homeless shelters.

The clamor generated by "My Baby's Got A Smile On Her Face" comes just as Urbina Jones is entering the final week of her Fiery Angel INDIGOGO campaign to raise funds to put out the album she recorded for a major label but which was never released, according to a press release. Jones was poised to be the first female Latin/American to break through as a country artist in decades.

Fans and well-wishers can contribute their own Christmas gift to this fiery angel by contributing to her project via Stephanie Urbina Jones: The Fiery Angel Project | Indiegogo by Dec. 22, 2014 at 12 a.m. PST.
