A woman's lost luggage was returned to her a full two decades after it was misplaced at an Arizona airport, KVOA reported.

Maria Dellos, of Tucson, Arizona, said she was "blown away" when her suitcase full of long-lost art supplies was returned after a TSA lost and found representative from Tucson International Airport called her Tuesday.

"Well I actually almost ignored the call because of telemarketing. All day long I get calls," Dellos, owner of Maria's Art Creations, told the station.

She said she thought the call was in reference to another piece of luggage she lost in August. But oddly enough, the call was for luggage she lost 20 years ago. Dellos retrieved her property and took a walk down memory lane when she found a hand-written note with her address on it inside the bag.

"When I looked at this note, it was dated, it dated me as 20 years ago! And I was just absolutely blown away," Dellos told KVOA.

Also in the luggage were art supplies like paint she bought at a trade show in Las Vegas. Some of the items are valued at $600.

"This is product, art product, very valuable stuff," Dellos said.

Nico Melendez, a TSA spokesman, explained the luggage in question was lost before the Transportation Security Administration existed.

"I understand that we just did some shuffling of equipment at the airport, so it's quite possible that we came across something that somebody left unattended for a long period of time," Melendez told the station.

It seems Dellos has as much luck recovering her luggage as she has bad luck losing it. The luggage she lost in August was also returned.
