Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for "Life is Strange," the enthralling, time-travel game from "Remember Me" developer Dontnod Entertainment. The clip sets up a bit of the game's story, which follows a teenage girl with time-altering abilities. Something brutal and tense goes down in the video, but with the ability to rewind time, the awful event can be undone.

While announcing "Life is Strange" during Gamescom in August, Square Enix teased, "With the power to rewind time, what would you change? And would it turn out to be a change for the better or worse?"

The publisher has also said that every action you take will kick off the butterfly effect, an idea that postulates even the smallest of changes can have significant effects on events and lives down the line.

Not only will "Life is Strange" offer some interesting gameplay, but the game itself looks gorgeous. That's because every single texture in the title was hand drawn, Square Enix claims.

The trailer is very well put together, and the song ("Obstacles" by Syd Matters) really makes it all click in a special way.

"Life is Strange," which is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC in 2015, will be released digitally using an episodic model beginning with episode one on January 30. Each new chapter will build and evolve on the choices you made in the past episode, Square Enix asserts.

The company also confirmed pricing details for "Life is Strange." There will be five episodes in all, which you can purchase individually for $5 each. Alternatively, you can buy all five for $20. Thanks to PC Gamer for the heads up.
