There's not really a whole lot to say about this one.

Prior to a faceoff during last night's game between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Philadelphia Flyers, the ref stepped forward for a moment to exchange words with one of the Lightning players.

Flyers center and captain - yes, captain - Claude Giroux took the opportunity to wipe his nose and then pat it onto the back of the ref, kindergarden-style.

Check out the video for yourself.

Luckily for Giroux, the ref didn't notice. The Flyers though, went on to lose.

I guess Giroux will have to find a new way to propel Philadelphia, now in 15th place in the 16-team Eastern Conference, to victory.

One that hopefully doesn't include his snot.
