Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called the school house raid in Peshawar a "national tragedy," according to The Times of India.

Sharif is on his way to Peshawar and says he will personally oversee the operation.

"I have decided to proceed to Peshawar and I will supervise the operation myself. These are my children and it is my loss," Sharif said.

As HNGN reported earlier, 126 people are dead, including 84 children, after Taliban gunmen attacked a school Tuesday morning.

There were 500 children and teachers believed to be inside the building. The injured number as of now is 122, while an unknown amount of people still remain inside of the school.
