Iowa authorities have charged a man for posing as an online Victoria's Secret representative to trick women into sending him pictures of them in their underwear, according to criminal complaints obtained by KCRG-TV.

Sean Boeis, 29, allegedly lured women with the promise of an invite to a private Victoria's Secret photo shoot in Miami if they uploaded lingerie photographs of themselves in response to a survey he launched Jan. 9. Two months later, he published another survey, promising a $25 gift card in return for personal information, the criminal complaints read.

Boeis admitted to receiving photos from at least two women, KCRG-TV reported. He also said he never sent any $25 gift cards.

Authorities said the Iowa City resident published the Victoria's Secret surveys along with others by stealing the usernames and passwords of two University of Iowa students to create a profile on the survey website Qualtrics. Over 6,000 people responded to the surveys he allegedly ran from December 2013 to May 2014.

Boies was arrested last week and charged with two counts of identity theft less than $1,000 and unauthorized computer access, the station reported. He was released last Thursday on his own recognizance.
