"The Voice" coach and country superstar Blake Shelton are almost synonymous. After all, he has occupied the coach's red chair since the musical competition show premiered in 2011. But Shelton has revealed that he and the show will eventually part ways.

At a Los Angeles press conference will all of the Season 7 judges on Nov. 17, Shelton confessed, "I can't imagine...doing this forever. " The revelation came during the BuzzFeed Brews panel, where Shelton appeared alongside Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell. "I mean," added the country star, "at some point you gotta get back to...having a life"

Now, for Shelton fans, the good news is that the singer-songwriter is already confirmed to return for Season 8. Even so, he made it clear that he's going to step away from the hit series at a future date.

"I don't want to stop anytime soon," he acknowledged, "but this show is like the damn-it's like being on the damn 'Price Is Right.' I mean, it's on every single night of the damn week every day of the year...so probably not forever, but I don't know, not quittin' anytime soon."
