Fox News correspondent Dominic Di-Natale was found dead Wednesday from an apparent suicide, according to Variety via MSN and according to Fox News. The 43-year-old international reporter was discovered on property that he owned in Jefferson County, Co.

The coroner officially ruled his death a suicide, according to Variety. Di-Natale most recently worked as a freelancer out of Fox News' West Coast bureau in Los Angeles. He resigned on Nov. 30, the same day he made his last appearance for the network, according to a story on Fox News' website. He was not an employee of the network at the time of his death, a Fox News spokesperson told HNGN in an email.  

The veteran reporter covered the raid on Osama bin Laden in 2011 and the recent riots in Ferguson, Mo., according to Variety.

The U.K.-born Di-Natale had "undisclosed health issues," according to Fox News.

"We were extremely saddened to learn of Dominic's passing and send our deepest condolences to his family and friends," a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement. "He was an esteemed journalist and an integral part of our news coverage throughout the Middle East."

Di-Natale started in 1989 as a magazine writer in Portugal, moved to BBC World and then started with Fox News in 2007, according to Fox News.
