Taylor Swift asked the media to grant her one giant wish for her 25th birthday: "I'd like for you to stop accusing all my friends of dating me. #thirsty," she tweeted on Dec. 8.

Two days later, Us Weekly reports Swift is dating 1975's Matt Healy. The two first met backstage at his band's Los Angeles concert in November.

"We exchanged numbers," the British rocker told Australian radio show "Shazam Top 20." "I mean, bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? ...I wouldn't say no!"

The potential couple have kept their relationship low-key. Their communication also has been limited to frequent text messaging as their busy schedules have kept them apart.

"It's very new and they're having fun," a source told Us. "They're seeing where things go."

Swift ended her last serious relationship in January 2013 with One Direction singer Harry Styles. The two have moved beyond their breakup and partied together at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show afterparty last week.

The "Shake It Off' singer also has been linked to 5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford. Her rep made a statement denying all rumors of possible relationships.

"Taylor remains happily single," her rep told People. "It is disappointing that her one birthday request was ignored."

Swift will perform in Times Square on New Year's Eve as the headliner for Ryan Seacreast's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" on ABC. She kicks off "The 1989 World Tour" on May 5 in Tokyo, Japan.
