Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for George Miller's "Mad Max: Fury Road," starring Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult, Charlize Theron and others. The trailer reestablishes the bleak vision of the "Mad Max" universe...it's a world "without hope, without law, and without mercy." Revel in its awesomeness below:

"Fury Road" is the fourth film in the "Mad Max" franchise, and follows Mad Max (Hardy) as he becomes involved with a group traveling across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by Furiosa (Theron), an elite Imperator. Pursing them is the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), who brings together all his gangs and pursues the group on a collision course for a Road War.

In my humble opinion, this is one of the better trailers I've seen in some time. I think the main reason for that is that the filmmakers here are using mostly practical effects rather than relying on CGI...and it certainly shows. People are getting burned out on the preponderance of CGI in today's films, and it's just fantastic to see a bunch of good old fashioned car crashes and explosions.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" will be released on May 15, 2015. The film also stars Nathan Jones, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee, Courtney Eaton, Josh Helman, Jennifer Hagan and iOTA. Thanks to Comic Book Resources for the heads up.
