Google announced an update for its Hangouts app for Android Wednesday morning aimed at making the app more fun and easier to use.

The update, which was revealed at the Le Web conference in Paris, comes with 16 new sticker packs and classic video filters, according to The Verge.

On the more technical side, the app now has smart suggestions based on the user's location, so when someone asks "where are you," a new prompt pops up that the user can tap to directly share their location.

While Hangouts already has location sharing, the search giant is now trying to analyze conversations to find clues by providing a quick reply option, TechCrunch reported.

Android Hangouts also features a few Easter Eggs that users can see by typing "woot" or "happy birthday" into a conversation after installing the update. A "last seen" timestamp is now also included in the user's contacts to let them know exactly when someone is online. Google is also letting users import their phone's contacts as a way to make contacts stronger.

Google product chief Bradley Horowitz said at the conference that the new Hangouts operates under the same principles as Google Now, The Verge reported. He didn't explain exactly how the machine-learning process in the app can be improved, but improvements expected to be made include giving users the chance to share calendar appointments and flight times.

The new Hangouts app is available now to download at the Android Play Store. Google plans on making the new features available for iOS devices and other gadgets soon.
