A message claimed to be from Guardians of Peace (GOP) appeared Monday on code-sharing community website Github, warning Sony Pictures to cancel the release of "the movie of terrorism" if it wants to avoid war.

This group is believed to be referring to the upcoming comedy film "The Interview," which stars Seth Rogen and James Franco, who play characters tasked with assassinating North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, according to The Verge.

The warning is the latest move made by the Sony hackers, with Rogen and Franco making fun of the previous attacks on Saturday Night Live with a skit in which they shared "leaked" photos. However, the latest message appears to be directly targeted towards Sony.

No one knew about the GOP until its initial attack on Sony two weeks ago, CNN Money reported. The group has taken credit for breaking into employee computers at Sony Pictures and destroying information.

"We have already given our clear demand to the management team of SONY, however, they have refused to accept," the message reads. "Do carry out our demand if you want to escape us. And, Stop immediately showing the movie of terrorism which can break the regional peace and cause the War!"

The message comes a week after Sony responded to a massive hack that stole Sony Pictures movie scripts, films, internal memos and personal information on movie stars and studio employees, calling it "a terrorist attack." Evidence continues to show that North Korea was behind the attack.

The creators of the message added that the FBI won't be able to find them, saying "We are perfect as much."
