Emma Roberts is going from "American Horror Story" to "Scream Queens." According to Entertainment Weekly, Roberts will join actress Jamie Lee Curtis in Ryan Murphy's new show on Fox. The horror-comedy anthology series will feature a new cast, location and plot each season.

The first season of "Scream Queens" will focus on a college campus that experiences a bunch of horrific murders. Roberts is no stranger to horror flicks. She starred in "American Horror Story" for two seasons - "Coven" and "Freak Show" - and she was also in "Scream 4."

Curtis starred in the 1978 slasher film "Halloween" and other horror flicks like "The Fog," "Terror Train" and "Prom Night." It was previously announced that Fox ordered 15 episodes of "Scream Queens" and it's set to debut next fall. Murphy will work on the new series with his "Glee" co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan

"I knew I wanted to work with Brad and Ian again on something comedic, and we are having a blast writing 'Scream Queens.' We hope to create a whole new genre - comedy horror - and the idea is for every season to revolve around two female leads. We've already begun a nationwide search for those women, as well as 10 other supporting roles, and we're very grateful to Dane and Gary for their enthusiastic support," Murphy previously told Entertainment Weekly in a statement.
