Julianne Hough is a woman in love.

The "Dancing With the Stars" judge shared a rare Instagram photo Wednesday that featured Hough boyfriend Brooks Laich and their dogs. 

"A little nature walk with the loves of my life!" the 26-year-old wrote alongside the picture, about the 31-year-old Washington Capitals hockey player.

The "Safe Haven" actress and her beau started dating last winter after being introduced by mutual friend, Teddy Sears.  E! News reported that the two have grown closer this past year.

During an interview with 106.7 The Fan in Washington D.C, Laich admitted he and Hough weren't fans of each other's work before they met, saying, "I had never seen an episode of 'Dancing With the Stars,' but in my defense, she had never seen a Caps game either until she met Teddy."

The hockey player continued to gush about his ladylove, saying, "I don't want to get into a whole lot of it; I'm kind of shy on my personal life," he said. "But she's a cool, cool gal. She's just a sweetheart, very loving, very giving. She puts so much great out into the world. I'm a pretty lucky guy."

For her part, Hough says, "He's a wonderful guy ... I'm very lucky that my friend I shot "Curve" with – the movie I just did – introduced us," she told E! News.
