Capcom has teased "Street Fighter V," exclusive for PlayStation 4 and PC.

They did so via the teaser trailer which you can see below, which shows off early models for Ryu and Chun-Li. As you can see, they retain the stylized look they had in "Street Fighter IV," with bumped up details and textures. The video also talks about "rising up" and breaking through your ceiling. It closes with a shot of the logo for the game and the words "exclusively on PS4 and PC." It also includes a link to what seems to be a landing page for the new game, but it isn't live yet.

Details are sparse beyond this, but it is highly likely there will be more details revealed later today in either "The Game Awards 2014" or the PlayStation Experience event.

Its immediate predecessor, "Street Fighter IV," was released on 2008, and signaled a return for Capcom to the "Street Fighter" series after nine years. Factoring in re-releases and all platforms, the game has sold in upwards of 8 million copies. "Street Fighter IV's" success ushered in a renaissance and resurgence in the fighting game genre in general.

Stay tuned for more on "Street Fighter V" as it develops, as I'm sure there will be more information released on this hot, new title this evening at either (or both) events. Thanks to Polygon for the heads up.
