Cloistered nun of 86 years, who is believed to be the world's longest serving nun, has died in Spain at the age of 105 years old.

Sister Teresita Barajuen entered Madrid's Buenafuente del Sistal monastery when she was 19, due to family pressure, never intending to become a nun.

The Cloistered nun of 86 years left the monastery for the first time in over 40 years when former Pope Benedict XVI visited Madrid in 2011. Barajuen then began serving at the monastery on the same day that Pope Benedict XVI was born.

However, Barajuen confessed in several interviews during her lifetime that she did not initially plan to become a nun and join the monastery, but she entered it after feeling pressure from her family. As time went on, she felt overcome with passion for her beliefs and continued on till her death.

Her 86 years of dedication will surely not go unnoticed. Barajuen will most likely receive a blessing from the Pope for her 86 years of service.
