Kim Kardashian wants to have at least two more children with her husband Kanye West, but the mother of one once feared she would never get pregnant.

"A few years ago I was told I could never get pregnant," Kardashian told Elle UK in the upcoming "Confidence Issue." "Three different doctors told me the same thing, which is why I wanted to have my eggs frozen. I was just about to do that when I found out I was pregnant with North."

The 34-year-old reality star gave birth to her and Kanye West's daughter in June 2013. Kardashian wants to expand their family soon and by natural means if possible.

"I want a boy and another girl; I want it to start happening straightaway," she said. "I loved being part of a huge family - and I want that for North. We'd do IVF if nothing happens, but we both want to keep trying naturally."

Kardashian also spoke with Elle about her low self-esteem problem growing up, something that seems impossible given her recent Paper magazine spread. Her impressive physique developed early in her life, before a young teenage Kim could appreciate her unique body type.

"It's taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford's. No one looked like me," she said.

Kardashian credits her late father Robert Kardashian for encouraging her to be proud of her figure. He even wrote a letter to his 13-year-old daughter to help cheer her up during a particularly difficult time in her young life.

"I was unhappy with my body - I developed really early. Every night I would sit in the bath and cry, I prayed my boobs would stop growing," she said. "He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self-worth."
