It's back to work for the stars of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

According to a report by the Daily Mail, several actors from the upcoming action film will reunite at Pinewood Studios in London in January for two-weeks in order re-shoot and add extra scenes to the Marvel blockbuster.

Actors involved in the re-shoot include Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki).

Movieweb reported that the extra scenes will add "a bit more kick-ass on an extravagant scale." Director Joss Whedon reportedly sent out notices to the cast asking them to be available should they be needed for re-shoots.

However, re-shoots do not mean that producers are unhappy with the canned footage.

The Daily Mail also reported that the two-part follow-up to "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be filmed back-to-back in the U.K. studio and are scheduled to be released in 2018 and 2019.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on May 1. It will also star Aaron Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Josh Brolin (Thanos) and Andy Serkis, whose role has not been announced.
