"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are not happy about the recent character photos Universal Pictures released. On Nov. 26, in honor of Rita Ora's birthday, the studio released the first official picture of her character Mia Grey.

The 24-year-old singer was cast to play the adopted sister of Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) in the film. Immediately after Universal posted the photo to its Facebook page, fans started to comment leaving negative remarks.

"She looks horrid. Mia is meant to be a cute girly girl. not looking like a man in drag," one user wrote.

"She kind of ruins my hopes for the movie," another wrote.

"This whole film has been ruined by their ridiculous choice in actors!! Why on earth is Rita ora being including in films these days she was crap and pointless I fast 6 so why is she in this what a disappointment," another fan commented, according to the Daily Mail.

Fans were also unhappy about the official photos of Kate Kavanagh (Eloise Mumford), Christian's mom Grace Trevelyan Grey (Marcia Gay Harden) and his father Garrick Grey (Andrew Airlie).

"Kate is supposed to be a knockout, breathless... this chic, Is Not. Ugh, I hope the movie is similar to the movie... since the actors don't match it much. Ugh," one user wrote on a photo of Kavanagh.

Ora recently dished about starring in the movie to OK! Magazine.

"Everyone is going to have their own opinions," she said. "But for me this was such a great cameo to be involved in, and even though I'm only in it for a little bit, it's opened the door to a lot of movie things that I haven't actually announced yet."

She also told OK! that she thinks the film, based on the novels by E.L. James, is going to "make a lot of waves."

"It's going to be awesome," she added.

Unfortunately, fans aren't so sure the movie will be "awesome." What do you think of the photos?
