Country music's rising guitarist-singer-songwriter Brandon Alan's new video for "Through The Cracks" showcases the song's thumpin' blues-tinged country rock edge. The video features one of Texas's premiere honky tonkers Bart Crow.
The video premiered exclusively at CMChatLive.com earlier this week and #CMCHAT profiled Alan as a "One To Watch."
Alan, whose music has been described as "John Mayer dipped in a country river," just released his self-titled bluesy rock country LP this week. He is now on a nationwide radio tour to promote the single, which has already been added and playing small market radio stations all over the country. And now he will have the video to tout the song and himself as he crosses America.

Alan has been on a roll the last few months. He was picked by Music Connection Magazine as No. 5 on the Top 25 new artists of 2013, and the Country Music Association's CMA Closeup magazine chose him as a "Who New To Watch in 2014." In addition, he secured a coveted spot to play a Grand Plaza main stage show at the 2014 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) earlier this year.
The bluesy country singer's musical influences reflect his style and passion for masterful guitar playing including Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits, Sting, Joe Walsh, Foo Fighters, Stephen Stills/Crosby Stills & Nash, Matchbox 20, Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Rzeznik.
Alan spent many years in his very own "musical graduate school" in the Live Music Capitol of the World - Austin, Texas, where he honed his craft of songwriting, guitar musicianship and developed his style as a performer playing out four nights a week. He refined the unique sound that has become his trademark: a layered blend of country, rock and contemporary blues.
