"Resident Evil" publisher Capcom has a new PlayStation 4 title in the works that will "turn heads," according to producer Jun Takeuchi.

While teasing the new game, Takeuchi called the PlayStation 4 an "incredible system," and one he's constantly learning new things about, Gematsu reported. Compelled to say if Capcom was working on any new PS4 titles, beyond those that are already known, Takeuchi finally admitted that they were working on new IPs, saying: "It's gonna be something that will even turn heads overseas."

"Of course," he continued. "Right now, we're seeing how far we can push the game engine. You'll be surprised by the quality of the games we're working on right now. I think we'll be able to announce it soon, so please look forward to it. I realize that's obnoxious (laughs)."

One of Capcom's foremost new PS4 games is the free-to-play, medieval hack-and-slasher, "Deep Down." That game's producer, veteran Capcom designer Yoshinori Ono, is also working on a second PS4 title, Gematsu reported. One would surmise that the game hinted at by Takeuchi is that game, though it's not confirmed.

Takeuchi has worked on a number of popular franchises for Capcom, including "Onimusha," "Lost Planet," and, of course, "Resident Evil."
