"Need for Speed" fans will be happy to hear that the racing game series will get a new installment next year.

Publisher Electronic Arts has announced that the game, called "Need for Speed: No Limits," will be available for iOS and Android users in 2015, though a specific release date has yet to be revealed, according to PC Magazine.

Firemonkeys, the studio responsible for the Real Racing games in iOS and Android, will be responsible for developing the new game.

"We've built No Limits from the ground up to deliver the insanely-fast driving and incredible graphics that fans have come to expect from Need for Speed- all in the palm of your hand," Firemonkeys Executive Producer Robert Huebner wrote in a blog post. "We're constantly amazed by the power and performance we're able to get out of the latest phones and tablets and think you will be too."

Further details about "Need for Speed: No Limits" have yet to be revealed.
