AMC hopes to catch the "Breaking Bad" fever once again when it premieres the hit drama's spinoff "Better Call Saul" on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 10 p.m. The cable network will immediately follow up the show's debut with a second episode on Monday, Feb. 9 at 10 p.m.

Bob Odenkirk will reprise his role as Saul Goodman in the "Breaking Bad" universe, but six years before he took on Walter White as a client. The first season will have 10 episodes, and AMC already renewed the series for 13-episode second season.

"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan will serve as an executive producer on the new series along with Peter Gould, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein.

"Known to 'Breaking Bad' fans as Saul Goodman, viewers will soon discover Saul wasn't always Albuquerque's top criminal lawyer," AMC President Charlie Collier said. "Huge thanks to Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Bob Odenkirk, our partners at Sony and the entire team. We're thrilled to be cooking together again."

The AMC show won't integrate too many of the "Breaking Bad" characters into the new series. Odenkirk encouraged Gilligan and Gould to "make this fresh for everyone," so viewers can distinguish his show from the popular series, starring Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, according to IGN.

The show will air regularly on Mondays at 10 p.m. after its back-to-back premiere episodes.
