Los Angeles (6-4) has been inconsistent for most of the season.  They haven't won two consecutive games so far in November, alternating wins and losses the entire month.  They're coming off a 114-90 win at Orlando, thanks in part to the Clippers' bench outscoring Orlando 60-23.

The fact that Los Angeles' starters got to rest some wasn't lost on the team, whose seven-game road trip began Wednesday night at Orlando.

"It was real big, especially this being a seven-game road trip for us and going to play against a tough Miami team tomorrow," Clippers star Chris Paul said, via ESPN.  "We needed to get that rest."

Despite beginning an 11-day road trip, the Clippers might not even notice the difference of not playing at home, given Paul's comments earlier in the week about the Los Angeles fans.

"Tonight (Monday against Chicago) somewhat felt like a road game," Paul said.  "It ain't no secret.  It's not the first time."

Miami, meanwhile, is 6-5 after snapping their three-game losing streak Monday against the Brooklyn Nets.  The Heat comfortable left Barclays Center with a 95-83 win, which guard Mario Chalmers admitted was crucial for his team.

"We needed this game tonight," he said.  "After the losing streak we were on, it's good to get on the road and get a big win like this."

Heat star Chris Bosh has stepped up big for Miami, averaging 19.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.  Dwyane Wade and Luol Deng are both questionable with injuries, but ESPN reported Josh McRoberts is "probable" after suffering a foot injury and missing the last three games.
