20th Century Fox has debuted (via USA Today) new images and the first trailer from "The Peanuts Movie," coming to theaters on November 6, 2015. The trailer is below, and the images are at the end of the article:

For the first time ever, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang we know and love from Charles Schulz's enduring "Peanuts" comic strip will be making their big-screen debut. But this will be a whole new ball of wax for the Peanuts gang as this will be a CGI-animated feature film in 3D.

Watching Peanuts come together has brought on a flood of childhood memories for the Blue Sky Studios team. Director Steve Martino ("Ice Age: Continental Drift") loved seeing his Snoopy perform the famous dog's iconic happy dance ("I used to wait for that moment to come on screen"), while Producer Paul Feig ("Bridesmaids") reveals that he choked up while watching the first reel of storyboards set to the classic Vince Guaraldi music that was a hallmark of the TV specials.

"You love being back in that world," Feig said. "And you immediately want to grab every kid you know and go, 'Oh, my God, you've got to watch this!' "

The most popular and influential comic strip of all time, "Peanuts" was read every day by 355 million people in 75 countries. In addition to the famous strip, "Peanuts" holiday television specials such as "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" have won Emmy's and continue to be among the highest rated prime-time TV specials.
