Nokia still appears to be interested in hardware, and tweeted a teaser Monday for a new device set to debut on Nov. 18.

The image features a black box that has the date of its unveiling and the tag line, "we're up to something," according to TechSpot. The announcement follows the Finnish company selling its hardware division to Microsoft, which had many believing the company was done with hardware.

Speculations have already started as to what the new device is, with some believing it will be a set-top box, which would give Nokia the ability to compete with Apple TV and Roku's streaming devices.

Another guess is that the black box is just a box with a Nokia logo that contains the actual device inside of it, TechCrunch reported. Others are speculating that it could be a set-top device that runs on Android TV, similar to Google's recently-unveiled Nexus Player.

One of the possibilities most have ruled out is a smartphone since Nokia has to wait until 2016 to release a smartphone with the Nokia brand on it.

Whatever the new device may be, Nokia fans only have to wait one more day to find out.
