Bravo's reality series "Vanderpump Rules" is back by popular demand for season three and opening doors for newcomer Katie Maloney. Yes, she's back. Filmed in Beverly Hills at Sur Restaurant, which is owned by none other than "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alumna Lisa Vanderpump, the staff, including Maloney, is put through its paces.

Adding to the drama on the show is Maloney's real-life angst over longtime boyfriend, Tom Schwartz, and rumors of his possible infidelity. Booo and hisss.

Even given that kind of a teaser, Maloney leaves us hanging about what the new season holds, except to say, "There is going to be plenty of drama this season. Lots of rumors, lies and tears, but what else is new?"

"We all definitely keep them [producers] very up to date on the happenings in our lives," adds Maloney. "We really live our lives on camera, so keeping producers up to date with what's going on in our personal lives is crucial to the process."

It's also good to know that both Maloney and Vanderpump get along off camera. "Lisa has the biggest heart and you really sense her genuine concern for you. I had a rough summer and it was nice to have Lisa in my corner."

Although she's new to the business, it didn't take the sharp, 28-year-old Utah native long to adjust. "We really just show up and live our lives just as we would without cameras around."

She's even begun branding herself with her Pucker & Pout blog on beauty and fashion. "I also can't wait to work in music again. Music is one of my first loves and surrounding myself with beautiful sound brings joy to my life."

So how did she go from a few varied jobs as a music supervisor and working the Fred Segal Beauty gifting suite at the Sundance Film Festival to "Vanderpump Rules?"

"While I was pursuing my other ventures, I needed a job to help supplement my income. Then Sur came along. This was about five years ago, before 'RHOBH' started, and when the opportunity for 'Vanderpump Rules' came about we jumped on board."

So what is it Maloney wants people to learn about her that they might not already know?

"I am not a doormat. I am open-minded and go with the flow, but I sometimes feel that's interpreted as being a puppet."

No one is pulling this gal's strings. Or are they? Stay tuned.
