Nearly a decade after performing together for the 2005 college tour, Chris Brown and Trey Songz will be hitting the road together again. The R&B singers and Virginia natives announced the news on Monday, Nov. 10 during a livestream event at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.

The longtime friends will kick off their 25-city "Between the Sheets" tour at the end of January in Hampton, Va. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 12.

"We always had a bond regardless as friends and as brothers. We trust each other," Brown said during an interview with Songz, according to ABC News.

"It took a while for something like this to happen because you do grow a friendship over years and I'm excited about it, more excited about it than any [other] tour," Songz added.

The 25-year-old "Loyal" singer first mentioned a joint tour with Songz during a radio interview with Ryan Seacrest saying, "Me and Trey Songz are going to actually do a tour, I want to say the end of fall? But I'm trying to figure it out as of now, as far as the creative side, what we're going to do production-wise. So we're just talking and getting everything set up right now. So we'll have things for ya'll soon, but I don't know the exact time."

He also previously told XXL magazine that they would be bringing other artists along on tour with them.

"We're incorporating people like Tyga and a couple other acts. We're still in the process of bringing people on the show but initially, we want to just start it off as me and Trey," Brown said. "So we can get the buzz going and everybody know about it."
