Miami Heat's LeBron James might have the block of the year. The four-time MVP asserted his presence in Game 2 of the NBA Finals with a vicious block on San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter.  He also rejected a shot from Spurs forward Tim Duncan.  Miami turned Game 2 in to a rout, winning 103-84.

Splitter drove to the basket early in the fourth quarter.  James rotated into the paint and leaped up, using one hand to deny Splitter's shot.  Despite Splitter's momentum toward the rim, James overpowered the driving big man and sent back the attempted dunk.

The first half of the game was neck and neck; the Heat went into halftime with a five-point lead.  Miami pulled away in the second half, and at one point went on a 25-to-5 run.

Heat guard Mario Chalmers led all scorers with 19 points.  James put in 17 points, eight rebounds and seven assists; Bosh earned a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

The Spurs collapsed in the second half.  Their 17 turnovers to Miami's six were a drastic change from Game 1.  Danny Green led San Antonio with 17 points, including going 5-of-5 from three-point range.   Tony Parker recorded 13 points and five assists, Kawhi Leonard had 9 points and 14 rebounds and Duncan added 9 points and 11 rebounds.

Game 3 is at San Antonio on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
